Weblogs are big these days. I remember when my friend’s first kept advertising their live journals and tabulas accounts. I never thought it would become such a huge hit. Now, weblogs are a common sight in cyberspace. At first they were simple, but as time went by I noticed how the appearance of an individual’s page differs from another. Same goes for
networking sites like Myspace and Friendster, they started simple enough but as it became popular several users change the template of their pages.
Although I am not a fan of putting
complicated page designs and
texts displays, I’ve always wanted to know how they do it. I asked a friend about it and he told me that weblogs, Friendster and Myspace allow users to use JavaScript to change the appearance of their pages. Usually, these sites offer generic templates to their users but also give the option to advanced users to modify their page.
All you have to do is paste your code on a section in your account’s “edit” page and you’re done! So if you have weblogs or an account in networking sites formulate your JavaScript code and decorate your page to attract other users to take a peek at your work.
